EULA - End User License Agreement

END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus

Please read and comprehend all rights and limits stated in this END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA) carefully. Before installing Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus that accompanies this EULA, you need to read all terms of this EULA and decide whether to agree with the terms or not. Unless you agree all terms of this EULA, this software shall not be installed in your computer.

As for a reference, you may print out the text of this EULA from this page now. You may also read the copy of this EULA in the HELP part of Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus.

This EULA is a legal agreement reached between you and Kingsoft Corporation (Kingsoft). This EULA governs Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus, which includes computer software and any associated documents and printed materials. By installing this software, you agree to the terms of this EULA. If there is any disagreement, please do not install or use Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus.

Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws and treaties. The software is licensed, not sold.

1. Kingsoft grants you a nonexclusive license to Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus in the overseas countries. You are entitled to:
1) Install, use, display and run a copy of Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus on one computer, workstation, terminal, pocket computer or other digital electro-apparatus.
2) Backup the copy in order to prevent damage. This backup is prohibited to be provided to any third party in any case. And you shall destroy the backup when your property of the copy is forfeit.
3) Adjust Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus when it is necessary to make Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus work in certain practical computer application environment. At the same time, providing adjusted software to any third party without Kingsoft''s prior written approval is prohibited, unless separate terms are provided.

2. The End User License Holder shall obey as following:
1) Do not use, copy, transfer, rework and lend the software, as a whole or part, outside this EULA.
2) Only install and run Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus on one personal computer.
3) Use Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus in a multi-user circumstance or network system only under following conditions:
a. With the warrants in writing from Kingsoft
b. Each client has purchased end user license
4) Do not reverse engineer, de-compile, or disassemble Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus in any shape or form.
5) Do not lease or lend Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus to any other person without a new license.
6) Make sure all copies of Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus shall comprise all copyright marks.

3. License Holder may make a one-time permanent transfer of this EULA and Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus to the third party, as long as:
1) The license of transferor shall be terminated.
2) License Holder retains no copies of Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus.
3) All of copies and backups of Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus shall be transferred to the third party or deleted completely.
4) The end user receiving the Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus shall agree to all terms of this EULA.
5) Any transfer shall comprise all editions of Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus, if the product is an updating edition.

4. Product Support Services
1) Kingsoft may provide you with product support services related to Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus.
2) Use of any such support services is governed by the Kingsoft policies and programs described in the user manual, or in other Kingsoft-provided materials.
3) Any add-on codes provided by Kingsoft as a part of support services shall be deemed as a part of this software and should be governed by this EULA, unless separate terms are provided.
4) Kingsoft can use the technical information you provided for business, including but not limited to product supporting and researching. At this time, Kingsoft will not mention you in an individual way, unless it is necessary to provide you with product support services.

5. Replacing, Reworking and Updating
1) The rights of replacing, reworking and updating Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus, as well as charging of fees at any time are reserved by Kingsoft.
2) Any replacing, reworking or updating edition of Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus which is provided to you will be regarded / deemed as a part of the software, and shall be abided by this EULA , unless this EULA is replaced by another agreement attached to replacing, reworking or updating editions of Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus.
3) If Kingsoft provides a replacing, reworking or updating edition of Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus:
a) you shall not continue to use Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus unless the new version of ELUA attached to the replacing, reworking or updating editions of Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus is agreed. And
b) the license to the former edition shall be terminated.

6. Any other rights undefined clearly in this agreement shall be reserved by Kingsoft.

7. Copyright
1) The titles of Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus and all copies are consistent with the titles of the corporation marked in the CD or Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus.
2) Kingsoft has the copyright of Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus (including but not limited to any image, picture, flash, record, music, word and add-program), printing material attached and any copies of Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus.
3)Copyright and all otherwise rights of Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus and its documents are protected under local and international Laws related to Copy Right /Trademark /Patent etc.
4) The User License Holder agrees not to remove or destroy any copyright mark.
5) The User License Holder agrees not to copy printing material attached.

8. Assurance:
In the event the product, Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus is faulty or does not include features Kingsoft has testified to, you may ask for an exchange of a new set. You shall provide a notification within 90 days of the purchase date. If this problem was caused by misuse or wrongful application, Kingsoft will not be responsible. The exchanged disk has a 30 day assurance or the remaining days of the initial assurance duration after the exchange. There is no other after-sale assurance besides the assurances above.

9. Limited Responsibility
Kingsoft and its Distributors hold no liability or responsibility for profit lost or data lost caused by the use or inability to use Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus, even if Kingsoft has been advised of the possibility of damage or fault in the product.

10. Agreement Termination
Kingsoft reserves all rights to terminate User Licenses at any time, if any terms or conditions in this agreement are violated.

11. This EULA is ruled by P.R.C Laws.

12. Important Notice:
In order to improve the quality of Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus and relevant services, the basic information about your usage of this software will be collected. Accordingly, Kingsoft will provide you with feedbacks aperiodically.
The information collected does not contain any personal information, such as the name, address, and files related to information security.
Such information shall only be used for marketing analysis, so that better functions and services of Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus can be provided. Kingsoft shall keep confidential of any and all information collected from you.

Admission
You have now read this agreement and have agreed to obey all of terms and conditions in it.
